A basic self defense skills course that will help students to recognize, deal with, and avoid potentially dangerous situations through establishing a defensive, aware, and more confident personal attitude.


Our instructor, Joanne Mytts BA, MSc, Shodan (Black Belt) in Takemusu Aikido, and has trained and taught Aikido and self defense since 1995. 


This 5 hour class over 2 evenings - July 25th & 26th
